We CGI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer (Python, Fast API, AWS, React) for MetagenAI, an enterprise AI-powered metadata management platform.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring someone who can drive architecture decisions while actively coding across the full stack.
The candidate will take technical ownership of the project, design scalable solutions, and mentor the team.
This position can be performed from any Client site Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, Bloomfield, CT, Raleigh, NC or Lafayette, LA in a Hybrid working Model.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Technical Leadership

Drive architectural decisions and technical roadmap

Establish coding standards and best practices
.
Lead design reviews and technical discussions
.
Mentor developers and conduct code reviews
Hands-On Development
.
Implement complex features (frontend + backend)
.
Optimize performance (APIs, queries, UI)

Debug production issues

Write clean, maintainable code
Collaboration

Translate requirements into technical designs

Work with product, data, and AI teams

Communicate technical decisions to stakeholders
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
At least 9+ years of overall software development experience required and must have skills:
Backend (Core)
